The famous one
The Chili-Cheese Heartstopper
Two franks in one bun, Joe's beef-and-bean chili, molten cheddar, onions. Fork optional, napkins not. It's been on the board since 2009 and it's still the thing people drive across the county for.

“I've been coming here since I was a kid and the Heartstopper still knocks me flat. Same chili, same Joe, same perfect snap on the dog.”
“Booked the cart for our block party. 120 people, zero complaints, and Joe stayed an extra half hour without blinking.”
“Best lunch deal on Front Street. In and out in five minutes and the fries are actually fresh-cut.”

Meet Joe
One guy, one grill, a really good pair of tongs.
Joe started with a rented cart outside the Bayport ferry in 1998. A few summers later he took over the old bait shop on Front Street, hung a hand-painted sign, and has been behind the grill most days since. He still makes every batch of chili himself, Tuesday and Friday mornings, before the doors open.

Questions people ask at the window
Something else? Call (555) 240-3647, someone will pick up.
Can I call ahead and pick up?
Yes, please do. Call (555) 240-3647 and your order will be wrapped and waiting at the window, usually in about 10 minutes. Busy Friday nights might take a little longer.
Do you have vegetarian options?
The Garden Dog is a smoky plant-based frank that takes any topping. Our fries, onion rings and slaw are vegetarian too. The chili has beef in it.
Is there seating?
There are a dozen stools inside at the counter and picnic tables out front from April to October. Plenty of people just eat on the sea wall across the street.
Do you take cards?
Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay all work. Cash is still welcome, Joe likes it.
How far ahead should I book catering?
Two to three weeks is ideal for the cart, especially for summer weekends. Drop-off lunches can usually be done with 48 hours' notice.
Hungry yet?
Call ahead and your order will be wrapped and waiting at the window. Or just walk in. Joe will be at the grill.
